"Buford" left me as an 8 week
old puppy in April of 1993 - he returned home to Moonfleet
in August of 2000 at the age
of 7 1/2 years with his coat SHAVED! He came out of retirement
and completed his Canadian Championship,
at the ripe old age of 9 years! He was the
grandson of my dear old Domino
and was affectionately known as Bufu-man and Old Fart.
Since Bufe came home to Moonfleet
at 7 1/2 years of age, he had been a fixture in my home.
He was a referee to the youngsters
when they played "wild kingdom" too wild for his liking;
he was vocal when wanting -
what he wanted - when he wanted it -- whether it be
ear rubs, butt scratches, chest
thumps, or simply a piece of bagel.
In short, he was all I could ever have asked for in a sweet, loving companion.
I am thankful for the opportunity
to share my life and my love with my sweet Bufu-man.
He will live on thorough his
kids at Moonfleet, Rodney, Paige, Eden and Melody.
Sadly missed by Donna Hounsell
and Jessica Overman, together with
Nancy, Ben and Pete Hiron.
