Although "Maja" is an extremely sweet and eager to please girl, she is
known as "counter surfer extraordinaire". She is an expert at
reaching items set at the back of the counter top.

"Maja" is gentle with the cats, and is one of the best "snugglers" I've ever had.

for sharing this wonderful girl with my family.

As a result of the breakup of my kennel, Maja (at the age of about 15 months), travelled to Minnesota, where she became the beloved pet of the Kurisko family.  Maja recently passed away suddenly after a 2 week battle with acute lymphcytic leukemia. My thanks to her family for giving her such a wonderful and loving home.

Here is what they wrote about how Maja touched their lives:

"We loved Maja very much. She was an amazing dog -- so smart, loving, snuggly, and sweet.  She was the perfect dog for us. Thank you for uniting us. You made a very good match. She has touched many lives- in fact, everyone who met her. All who have heard the  news have been deeply saddened, including our vet who cried along  with us."
