My lawyer's office informed me today that my DIVORCE has been granted!!!

HALLELUIA!!!

 It will be final 31 days from today ~~ actually on Christmas Day ~~ what a present that will be!!! I will be starting the year 2007 as a FREE WOMAN!

making her the first "Moonfleet Newf" to acquire all tests necessary to quality her for a "CHIC" designation on the OFA site. Keep up the good work!

My divorce from Ray will soon be final! WOO HOO!!! I was married in December, 1971, at just over 19 years of age. My children and Newfoundland dogs were simply the only thing we had in common.

We separated in December of 2004, after I discovered that my husband of 33 years had found a "special friend" through an on line dating service and had been cheating for several months.

With much help of my friends (you know who you are!), my family, church family, my children, and my therapists, I have succeeded and become an independent person ~~who is finally comfortable in her own skin.

Donna flew to Hartford, Connecticut, and drove to Cumberland, Maryland with good friend, Kathy Queen. What a FANTASTIC specialty! The site - Rocky Gap State Park was all that we Newf lovers could have asked for! There was something for everyone.. from hiking trails, an absolute pristine lake with sand beach... good hospitality, etc. It was so great to meet old friends, make new friends and get to hug LOTS of the breed I LOVE! Thanks to the members of the Colonial Newfoundland Club for hosting such a great specialty. Cudos to you all.
