24, 2007
Jessica and I welcomed a new black
bundle of joy into our lives today. While her official name will be "LAUREL
OAK'S HERE WE GO AGAIN MOONFLEET", she will be called "Izzy". She was born
at Laurel Oaks Newfoundlands, owned by Ken, Alyce & Jesse Patrick.
We can't thank them enough for allowing us the pleasure of owning this
lovely little girl.

21, 2007 - Moonfleet'n Oberon's Eli, Am.Can.C.D., NCA T.D.D., W.R.D.
- "Eli" competed in the veteran's class at the River King Newf Club regional
specialty, and won his class at the ripe old age of 10 years. Congrats
to Eli, his mom and dad, Gerry and Judy Heinz.
October 19 - 21, 2007
Elsie, Sara and I visited for
the weekend with Lark and Mikko Hytinen ~ Iron Range Newfoundlands.
Elsie had a blast playing with her newfie friends. We visited the
beach at Au Train, Michigan, just east of Marquette. Here are some photos
of Elsie enjoying the beach.

20, 2007 - UPDATE
Sad news. I had SARA
x-rayed for OFA certification today. Her hips will not clear, although
her elbows are fine. She will be spayed in the next couple of weeks.
She has gone to her forever home, where she will have two "Iron Range"
sisters.

13, 2007 - Moonfleet's Oleohneh Oakum WD (Oakum)--handled by Elizabeth
Dubreuil-owned by Elizabeth, Gene Lohrmeyer, and Donna Hounsell ~ obtained
his Draft Dog title at the Newfoundland Club of Seattle. Congrats!

10, 2007 - "Elsie" has received OFA certification .... "good" for hips
and "normal" elbows.

8, 2007 - UPDATE
I am blessed to have a wonderful
3 year old black bitch "Sara", who may well be the start of my breeding
again. Watch for me in the show ring in early 2008, with "Sara",
as well as in the obedience ring and working activities with my "Elsie".

- "Ernie" competed at the Great Lakes Newf Club water test, and obtained
his junior title. He is now known as:

30, 2007 - Elsie had her OFA x-rays (hips & elbows) done for certification
today ~~ all looks great! Woo hoo!
August 12, 2007 ~ "Rupert"
- Jessica's briard, has been returned to his breeder due to temperament
issues. "Elsie" is lost without her brother.
